Youtuber Streetcap1 has shone a new light on some old photographs revealing what he believes is a alien craft observing the moon landings of the Apollo 15 mission .

The alleged craft can be seen hovering above the surface of the on upper left of the picture.
Apollo 15 was ninth manned Apollo mission and the fourth to actually land on the moon .
Commander David Scoot and Lunar Module Pilot James Irwin spent three days on the Moon in 1971 . NASA described it as the most successful manned flight ever achieved .
It is not the only instance of a unidentified flying object being encountered by the Apollo missions.
Buzz Aldrin, the second man on the moon, said he spotted a U.F.O during the Apollo 11 flight.
“I observed a light out the window that appeared to be moving alongside us,” he said.
Mr Aldrin was reluctant to describe the object as extraterrestrial in origin preferring instead a more likely explanation of the sun being reflected by the rocket which had earlier separated from them.
